The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), in collaboration with the Thai Chamber of Commerce, is set to host STYLE Bangkok 2025, the premier international trade fair for lifestyle and fashion products. The event will serve as a global platform for Thai manufacturers, exporters, and emerging designers to showcase their creative prowess and high-quality products across seven key lifestyle and fashion categories. More than just an exhibition, STYLE Bangkok 2025 will foster international trade negotiations, providing Thai entrepreneurs with opportunities to expand their global footprint and drive export growth. The event is scheduled to take place from April 2-6, 2025, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

At today’s press conference (March 7, 2025) at the Ministry of Commerce, Ms. Sunanta Kangwalkulkit, Director-General of the DITP, and Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, officially announced the event alongside representatives from leading industry associations. Among the panelists were Dr. Naowarat Songsawatchai, President of the Thai Leather Goods Association and Managing Director of Thammarong Co., Ltd., and Mr. Amorntep Katchanont, President of the Thai Design-Oriented Product Manufacturers Association. The discussion focused on the pivotal role of STYLE Bangkok as an international trade showcase and its influence on shaping the future of Thailand’s lifestyle and fashion industries.

A Visionary Platform for Global Trade and Innovation

According to Director-General Sunanta, STYLE Bangkok 2025 will be held under the theme, “The International Trade Fair for Visionary Design, Lifestyle, Fashion, and Experience.” The event will reaffirm Thailand’s reputation as a global hub for lifestyle and fashion, recognized by buyers, importers, and exhibitors worldwide. STYLE Bangkok has been a strategic tool in DITP’s proactive trade promotion efforts, enabling Thai manufacturers, exporters, designers, and SMEs to gain international exposure and establish business connections with global buyers. By doing so, the event plays a critical role in expanding the export volume and value of Thai lifestyle products.

“The lifestyle and fashion industries are key economic drivers for Thailand and align with the government’s soft power promotion policies. Thai entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and exporters have demonstrated remarkable strengths in creative design and high-quality production that meet international standards. Our goal is to position Thailand as the leading manufacturing and export hub for lifestyle and fashion products in the ASEAN region,” stated Sunanta.

Thailand’s Growing Export Market

In 2024, Thailand’s lifestyle and fashion exports reached a total value of USD 9.74 billion, with the lifestyle sector expanding by 6.97% and the fashion sector growing by 2.86%. The U.S. market, in particular, continues to show significant growth potential, alongside promising expansion in other international markets.

Mr. Sanan Angubolkul highlighted the Thai Chamber of Commerce’s commitment to strengthening collaboration between private sector entities and leveraging its extensive global network to enhance the competitiveness of Thai businesses. “The Chamber recognizes the importance of STYLE Bangkok as a key trade event that integrates efforts across industries, offering invaluable business opportunities for Thai lifestyle and fashion entrepreneurs. This initiative not only elevates the visibility of Thai products on the global stage but also enhances their competitiveness, ultimately increasing Thailand’s export value in this sector.”

He further noted that shifting trade policies, particularly in the United States, have positively impacted Thailand’s manufacturing sector. “With the U.S. imposing a 10% tariff on Chinese imports, Chinese manufacturers are relocating their production bases to Southeast Asia, with many choosing Thailand. In 2023, direct investment from China into ASEAN’s manufacturing sector reached USD 9.1 billion, a sharp increase from USD 4.5 billion in 2018. This shift has bolstered Thailand’s manufacturing industry, spurred job creation, and driven economic growth.”

A Global Showcase of Design Excellence

STYLE Bangkok 2025 will feature an extensive range of lifestyle, fashion, and design-oriented products from Thai and international manufacturers, exporters, and emerging designers. The exhibition will span multiple categories, including furniture, gifts, home décor, kitchenware, health and beauty products, fashion items, and toys. The event targets key international markets such as the U.S., China, Japan, the Middle East, India, Europe, and ASEAN nations.

This year’s edition will also present a diverse lineup of highlight exhibitions, including:
